Hello! I am a retired teacher and school counselor.  I live in Lititz, PA with my husband Matt.  My favorite activity since I retired has been visiting schools to share my book.  I also spend a lot of time in Rehoboth Beach, DE and hope to visit schools in that area as well.

When I was a school counselor, I felt that there was a need to help children understand and navigate through the difficult feeling of jealousy.  I searched for books on jealousy, but I could not find any that I liked.  I reached out to two of my favorite authors, Julia Cook and Trudy Ludwig.  They both encouraged me to write my own.  That was the motivation behind Jealous Jeter.

Bubbles and Troubles was a phrase that was used when facilitating class meetings.  I would often help students focus on what brings them joy (bubbles) as a way of dealing with difficult moments (troubles).   After my grandson was born, I decided to write this book for him.  He is the biggest bubble in my life and brings me the most joy!
